Mr. Orlando Montero is a seasoned real estate developer, investor, and licensed broker with over 23 years of experience leading complex real estate, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects from concept to completion. His expertise spans residential and commercial development, large-scale entitlement strategies, renewable energy initiatives, and sophisticated financial structuring—making him a trusted partner to municipalities, private capital groups, and institutional investors.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Montero has successfully navigated projects through every stage of development, including land acquisition, entitlement, construction management, financing, and disposition. His deep understanding of governmental processes and ability to build strong public–private partnerships have repeatedly accelerated approvals and unlocked significant project value.

One notable example of his leadership was the turnaround of a distressed condominium development acquired from a bank during the 2008 market downturn. Through strategic repositioning and disciplined execution, Mr. Montero successfully brought the project to completion and directed its sale through Sotheby’s International Realty.

In 2023, Mr. Montero brokered the sale of a fully entitled 96-unit multifamily development in Lake Elsinore, California, overcoming major municipal challenges and securing critical approvals that paved the way for investor acquisition. Similarly, in 2022, he played a pivotal role as a consultant on a subdivision project that had stalled for over a decade. Through direct engagement with the Mayor, City Council, and planning staff, the project achieved final map approval within 12 months and was subsequently sold to KB Homes.

Beyond real estate, Mr. Montero is deeply engaged in the renewable energy and project finance sectors, where he has spearheaded the development, capital structuring, and financing of numerous solar and clean energy initiatives across multiple states. His expertise includes utility-scale solar farm development, interconnection strategy, and leveraging federal and state incentives such as Investment Tax Credits (ITC), Production Tax Credits (PTC), and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to optimize project returns.

Mr. Montero has structured and negotiated capital stacks exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars, incorporating preferred equity, mezzanine financing, PACE overlays, USDA REAP and RD programs, and SBA facilities. His deep relationships with private credit funds, family offices, and institutional investors enable him to align project needs with the right capital partners—even in challenging non-recourse or corporate-guarantee-only scenarios.

Mr. Montero attended Southern Illinois University.
